The Weekly or two post....

We had visitor come this month. We had a lot of fun with him and love having him visit

For Family Home Evening we went to the Postmaster's house and saw her little village which actually takes up a whole room in her house. She sets it up every Christmas and loves to share it with others in town. It is amazing and very detailed.

We had our first snowman building snow. We have had little bits of snow here and there but not enough to build a snowman so finally we did..... Here is the results

I had never thought to keep a snowman alive in the freezer.

On Mutual night the Young Men and women had a talent show. It was very entertaining and both Lydia and Melissa participated by playing the Piano.

Melissa was also in a dance with a group of friends that is why she is dressed as she is.

Every Sunday we get a visit from Mason , Ruth and Emma. Mason loves to cuddle with Lydia.

This is Lydia s' and Melissa's favorite past time. They are growing teens and love to sleep in the warmest room in the house. Yes they do their chores first. This is how they spend their free time.

Ok, I am going to attempt to blog again...... New week, renewed hope that I will get it

I have been playing with my new camera which isn't as new any more. It has a bit of experience now. Some of the pictures are great and others.... well you will see

Then I thought that I would be cool and try taking a picture of myself with the camera.... Not a good idea. The outcome was ....well you tell me ugh!!!

It does work for Melissa though, she can take great ones of herself.

I was also able to get pictures of dad taking a Sunday nap. He can sleep any where.

The flash woke him up for a bit. Nice recliner!

We are all well and happy and enjoy life..

I will get better and better at updating and putting happenings on here instead of strange and different pictures. haha

Well this week may not have pictures because I seemed to have forgotten how this program works with picasa. Bummer!

Oh well maybe it will come back to me in the near future. Until then .......

This is the year 2012. Wow time seems to go faster the older you get. Not sure how that works because we should be slowing down as we get older.

The events of this weekend consisted of Dad and I going with Grandma Wells to Mackay Idaho to attend a funeral for Uncle Lawrence Lemmon. He was 97 Years old.

The funeral services were good. It is nice to attend funerals because you find out a lot that you never knew about that person. Uncle Lorrie (nickname...not sure if that is how he spelled it) was a great strength to his family and the community. I am glad that we knew him and were able to attend the services.

We were able to arrive back home so that we could watch the new year come in. This year was a bit different then any year so far. Dad and I were home alone to watch the new year come in. Evelyn stayed at a friends house while Lydia and Melissa went to a stake dance held at the YMCA in Caldwell. Dad and I bought various snacks to keep us awake while we stayed up late and we also bought a puzzle to put together to pass the time.

This is the finished puzzle. It is cute. I love the VW bugs. They are one of my favorite cars because I think they look cute and they have a cool motor sound when they run.
